Her Ghanaian, Russian, and German heritage influences her unique blend of techno, house, and classical music. Known for her energetic DJ sets and diverse radio shows on BBC 6 Music, she is a prominent figure in music and fashion, featuring i-D Magazine, Italian Vogue, and Paris Vogue.
During her residency at our studio, AFRODEUTSCHE recorded several pieces. Reflecting on her experience, she shared, “I’m still coming to terms with just how special the residency was for me. The result is shocking to me, I managed to record solo piano pieces that were never written down and were simply in my heart/head. I was recalling pieces from as far back as 2010! I believe it was only possible given the generosity and the space created by both Yulia and Max, I will be eternally grateful!”
Her work extends to collaborations with orchestras and fashion brands like Bottega Veneta and CHANEL. We are happy to support such a talented and versatile artist and are excited to see where her creativity takes her next.
