We had the brilliant Liv Little at the studio as part of our Visiting Artist Programme. A multidisciplinary creative, Liv’s work spans journalism, books, audio, TV, screenwriting and curatorial projects, blending sharp editorial insight with narrative finesse. Her debut novel, Rosewater (Dialogue Books in the UK; Get Lifted in the US, 2023) received widespread acclaim.
With a background as Founder and CEO of gal‑dem magazine, a seasoned broadcaster and host as well as commissioning for BBC Digital, Liv brings a rich editorial curiosity to her projects. At the studio she explored structure, tone and character in an open-ended way, letting ideas breathe and evolve without a predetermined destination.
During her time with us, Liv worked on her third novel.
